A Semester at Minnesota State University, Mankato
In 2019, I made my first solo journey abroad to study at Minnesota State University, Mankato for a semester. The experience of spending half a year in the United States was a real life changer.
Minnesota, known for its winters, was a stark contrast to my home. The university, with its sprawling campus and state-of-the-art facilities, offered a dynamic learning environment. I enrolled in courses that broadened my knowledge and challenged my perspectives, particularly in the field of Construction Management.
The friendliness of the Minnesotans made my stay even more enjoyable. From classmates to faculty, everyone was welcoming and eager to help.
Social life at Mankato was vibrant. I experienced the thrill of American college sports, attended numerous house parties, and made lifelong friends. The local community events and student organizations provided a well-rounded college experience.
Studying at Minnesota State University, Mankato was more than just an academic endeavor; it was a cultural immersion that enriched my life in countless ways. The lessons I learned and the memories I made will stay with me forever.
