Filipino hospitality

A Personal Journey

--

When I first heard about the renowned Filipino hospitality, I was curious but somewhat skeptical. Could a whole nation truly be as warm and welcoming as they say? My doubts were quickly dispelled during my stay in the Philippines from October 2023 to February 2024, where I experienced firsthand the genuine kindness and generosity that Filipinos are famous for.

The Heart of Filipino Hospitality

Filipino hospitality is deeply ingrained way of life. From the moment I landed in Manila, I was greeted with smiles and offers of assistance. Whether it was navigating the crazy streets of the capital or finding my way to meetings, there was always someone willing to help.

A Welcoming Workplace

At my workplace, my colleagues made me feel immediately at home. Their friendliness and willingness to help were evident from day one. They went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable and well-acquainted with both my professional responsibilities and the local culture. Their support and friendship made my adjustment period smooth and enjoyable.
