During my travels across different countries, I had the opportunity of meeting some truly inspiring individuals. Each of them has a unique story of perseverance, ambition, and courage, which has motivated me to pursue my own dreams and step out of my comfort zone. In this blog, I want to share these stories, beginning with a remarkable person I met during my time in the United States.

  1. Minnesota, USA: The Mongolian scholar who never stopped learning

While studying in Minnesota at the age of 22, I met a man from Mongolia who left a lasting impression on me. Unlike most students, he was already in his 30s when he decided to take a bold step and pursue further education in the United States. He had completed his first bachelor’s degree in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, but he wasn’t satisfied. Seeking greater opportunities, he moved to Minnesota to earn a second bachelor’s degree. but he didn’t stop there. He went on to complete not one, but two master’s degrees in Minnesota. his thirst for knowledge and academic achievement then led him to Oregon, where he earned a PhD. His relentless pursuit of education, despite starting later in life, taught me that it’s never too late to chase your dreams and that learning is a lifelong journey.
